I love Merrily. The most. I adore it. More than I can express. Something about the score and the story and the relationships just speak to me. But I’ve never actually seen it performed.
I’m seeing the production at City Center tonight. I’m incredibly exited, and I’ve heard very positive things. But at the same time, I can’t help feeling terrified that it won’t be all that I want/need it to be. ”Never meet your heroes” and all that.
